Dr Nicky Pouw is a researcher at the Governance and Inclusive Development (GID) programme at the University of Amsterdam focussing on poverty, inequality, wellbeing, gender, economic development and inclusive economics. She is also a guest editor of the Special Issue on Inclusive Development of the European Journal of Development Research (September, 2015), and a book editor (with Isa Baud) of Poverty and Local Governance in Developing Nations, Routledge: 2012.
